O Christmas Tree!

Hurray for Christmas! Yesterday we went to cut down our tree. The day was sunny, but freezing cold.

Marcos, Me, Lili, Abby, Saul, and Ruben. Abby and Saul are our neighbors who came along for the fun.

Edgar the Chopper.

Ruben and Lili helping Edgar carry the tree.

Marcos had to go into his exersaucer--though he's too big for it. He wanted to eat the tree--and the camera!

Ruben and Lili were very excited about putting ornaments on the tree.

You can't even tell that most of the ornaments are at Lili/Ruben height, right? Also note that all presents will remain above our cabinets this year. Marcos loves to tear wrapping paper.

I love sitting by the lit tree and breathing in that pine smell!

I remember those days of putting the gifts up or rewrapping gifts because of little hands who didn't understand that it was a present that needed to wait to be opened.
We contemplated getting a fake tree this year, but after looking at the prices of them went back to a live tree. (I love the smell too) We'll probably get one this week. Yea!

Your kids are so cute (and I'm not saying that because Marcos looks like Mark). Your tree looks good. The first picture made me laugh. With the sun shining on your face it really accentuated who the gringa of the family is. I really love Ruben in those glasses. What a cute boy!

I love your tree. . .and our tree! I just love Christmas. You have more readers than two because four of them commented on this one post. Merry Christmas!
